Policies

  • 24 Hour Notice of Cancellation – Any absences must be reported and/or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. All cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson will be charged the full rate. Due to the nature of the business, there are no make-ups.
  • Tardiness – Time missed due to tardiness will be counted toward the lesson time and not be made up at the end or added on to another lesson.
  • Payment – Payment is due by end of day. Lessons may be prepaid as far in advance as client prefers and client will be notified when the prepayment period has ended. A 10% fee will be added to any outstanding bill 30 days past due, and an additional 5% will be added to every subsequent month the bill is delinquent. (15% for 60 days past due, 20% for 90 days and so on).

Ex. Day of = $100, 30 days past due ($100 + 10%) = $110, 60 days ($100 + 15%) = $115, 90 days ($100 + 20%) = $120, 120 days ($100 + 25%) = $125

  • Materials – Client will be given a list of recommended materials from the teacher. They have the option to purchase these materials themselves or to reimburse the teacher for said materials.
  • Price Changes – Client will be notified 60 days in advance of any price changes. If client has prepaid, the price change will not take effect until the prepayment period has ended.

COVID Safety Protocols

  • Masks are RECOMMENDED for all in person lessons, regardless of age and vaccination status.
  • Piano is sanitized between lessons.
  • If student exhibits any signs of illness, the lesson will be rescheduled without penalty.
  • If student tests positive for COVID, student will be required to wait 10 days and provide a negative COVID test before returning to in-person lessons.
